IMA AUTOMATION ATOP at LaserEMobility

IMA AUTOMATION ATOP is pleased to take part in the LaserEMobility Workshop 2022 at the Bi-Rex Competence Centre, in Bologna, on March 10th – 11th, 2022.

The next decade will see a rise in the number and type of e-vehicles. Production methods will change and digital manufacturing will play a major role in these developments. Lasers are a key tool in e-vehicle manufacture, and the LaserEMobility Workshop is a hub where laser component manufacturers, system integrators and end-users can meet and discuss innovations.

The two-day event will be held in phygital mode, both in-person and live streamed.

IMA AUTOMATION ATOP will present the latest developments in its Laser Applications research project for stripping and welding processes, conducted in collaboration with the Politecnico di Milano. From processing to testing, many technological improvements are available in the automotive sector, in terms of both quality and cycle times.
